The role is best suited for someone with previous experience in sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have a working technical knowledge about each area of the business to ensure they can accurately sell our business solutions to our prospects and clients. The successful candidate can hit the ground running and will be enthusiastic with a positive attitude, dedication and willingness to work hard.
What you’ll do
This role will see you building and maintaining an ongoing sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets with new business. You will open up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients. You will work closely with our Commercial Manager to generate new business leads and follow up on sales opportunities.
Your day to day
- Generate and nurture new business leads and follow up on sales opportunities
- Call potential customers and build relationships
- Ensure a high level of communication end-to-end with current and prospective clients
- Understand customer needs and sell products accordingly
- Work to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Arrange meetings with clients and carry out workshops, strategy support and demonstrations
- Follow up on sales enquiries and send out information efficiently
- Research the market sectors and identify potential target customers
- Analyse business aspects in various departments and seek growth opportunities
- Write reports on findings, strategies and client opportunities
- Enter results into spreadsheets and pipeline software
- Fulfil requirements for business deals and other business obligations
- Network with related businesses and foster B2B relationships
- Create proposal documentation in line with company brand guidelines
- Contribute to creative discussions and decision-making about the business’s future
- Responsible for your own pipeline of inbound and outbound leads
- Any other duties as assigned by your manager
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in sales and account management
- Expertise in pipeline management
- Ability to work with increasing targets, both financial and metric related
- Drive and manage new business opportunities through sales processes
- Create and deliver proposals and presentations
- Have high-quality communication skills
- Previous experience in CRM systems
