Looking to take full ownership of your own portfolio in a globally respected reinsurer?If you\’re an experienced Treaty Underwriter with a focus on International Casualty – particularly Motor – and you\’re seeking more strategic input, high visibility, and genuine ownership, this could be the opportunity you\’ve been waiting for.You\’ll join a small but dynamic team of five, managing your accounts from start to finish—covering underwriting to shaping the team\’s long-term structure.This role offers exposure to group-level decision-making, working closely with the Head of Casualty Treaty and collaborating with the Group CEO on major deals, providing significant visibility within the company.It is a Motor-focused position, the most profitable line within the division, offering a solid foundation and growth opportunities.There are no legacy issues—just a clean, well-managed book and the chance to make a real impact.You\’ll need to bring:Solid technical and analytical skills with keen attention to detailStrong negotiation skills and confidence in managing client and broker relationshipsKnowledge of the London Market and UK Motor Liability spaceACII qualification (or working towards it)While technical underwriting expertise is crucial, this is a client-facing role—market knowledge, commercial acumen, and deal-making ability will set you apart.The business is part of a reputable international group with global offices.
