Job Title: Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist Banding Band 6 Location London, Greater London Working Hours 37.5 hours Rate Competitive, to be discussed upon application Introduction Pulse Mental Health is seeking a Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client based in London, Greater London. The position is available immediately for a short-term contract. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans for clients with mental health challenges. Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and improve quality of life. Collaborate with clients, families, and community resources to achieve therapeutic goals. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning. Work autonomously with the neonatal AHP team. Develop assessments for the premature population. Provide advanced neonatal OT services for high-risk neonates. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in Neonatal Care. Postgraduate qualifications in neonatal training such as NBO, General Movements Assessment, HINE, Sensory Baby & Sensory Beginnings, FINE. Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy. HCPC registration. Proficiency in developmental assessments for premature infants. Ability to provide specialist OT services for premature babies up to 2 years of age.
