Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced, ideally time-served Tool Maker to join a dynamic team, focusing on the modification, repair, and maintenance of Injection and Compression moulding tools. The role requires expertise in CNC and manual machining equipment within a Toolroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Modify, repair, and maintain Injection and Compression moulding tools.
• Operate and manage CNC and manual machining equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Toolroom Manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture high-precision tooling components.
• Identify and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
• Adhere to company safety and quality control standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker, preferably in Injection and Compression moulding.
• Proficiency in CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials used in mould-making.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• High attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a Toolroom or precision engineering environment.
• Knowledge of industry-standard health and safety regulations.
