UK Tax Compliance Specialist

Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

MBDA seeks a UK Tax Compliance Specialist to assist in all aspects of UK tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing research & development expenditure credit claims, UK corporation tax computations, PAYE reporting returns (including PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report for review.
• Supporting Central Finance with monthly tax reporting, statutory accounts, and auditor queries.
• Providing technical advice for VAT return preparation.
• Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects.

What we’re looking for from you:

• Qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with proven experience in corporate taxes and reporting.
• Ability to handle all aspects of UK tax compliance.
• Good accountancy knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong technical skills applicable across industry or from practice, with a commercial mindset.
