An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Head of Finance to join a leading organisation operating across the logistics and supply chain sector. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll partner with senior executives to drive financial strategy, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency across a complex, fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This position will see you take ownership of financial leadership for logistics, supply chain, operations, and inventory. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing strategic insight and driving improvements across budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to influence key operational and strategic decisions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across logistics and operations functions
- Develop and implement KPIs, financial models, and cost-to-serve analysis
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Drive inventory optimisation and working capital efficiency
- Support business case development and investment analysis
- Ensure financial governance, compliance, and audit readiness
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within logistics or supply chain
- Strong commercial acumen and experience influencing at executive level
- Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills
- Experienced in managing high-performing finance teams
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, matrixed environment
