Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week across Monday – Friday (Part-time hours also available)

Rate: £33K – £43K per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our Neuro-Rehab Centre in Milton Keynes. This role involves providing specialist neurological care and rehabilitation for individuals with progressive or acquired neurological conditions. The successful candidate will work with patients with conditions such as traumatic and acquired brain injuries, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a full member of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual treatment and rehabilitation plans, liaising with relevant agencies as appropriate.
  • Help residents develop and improve speech and communication via aids and systems.
  • Assess and monitor dysphagia, working closely with the dietician and catering team to ensure the best mealtime experience.
  • Communicate with relatives and carers with empathy, providing information, support, and advice regarding treatment plans.
  • Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration
  • Experience utilizing an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
