My client, a market-leading manufacturer of ambient food products, are recruiting a Senior Operations Manager.
Benefiting from Group Company investment and located just outside Cardiff, the business operates within a highly-automated factory environment.
The successful candidate will lead from the front, delivering significant contributions to the organisation’s business objectives and contributing to the continued profitable growth of a rapidly expanding organisation.
Job Specification
Reporting to the Operations Director, with responsibility for a five strong team, you will lead from the front, controlling and overseeing all factory operations.
Exemplary communication skills are required to communicate issues and decisions across the factory between all departments ensuring maximum productivity.
You will provide leadership and direction with a specific focus on driving operational performance, developing people, and building a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of systems and processes across the entire factory, specifically KPI’s, downtime, and wastage.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced Operations Manager from a Food/FMCG background, with a track record of creating, growing, and building a high-performance team via a positive and inclusive management style.
