The Role
As an SAP SD/MM Architect, you'll take the lead in shaping and maintaining the Commercial components of our SAP landscape β including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Logistics Execution (LE). You'll be a key player in the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, guiding the delivery of innovative business solutions that align with our global transformation strategy. Joining our CoreERP team β a passionate group of solution architects β you'll collaborate closely with IT Business Partners, Enterprise Architects, and other stakeholders to design seamless, high-performing SAP solutions that support critical business functions. Your expertise will provide the technical backbone for projects, ensuring smooth integration and long-term value as we move towards the next generation of our SAP landscape. Principle Accountabilities
- Manage technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems (S4 & ECC).
- Design new solution extensions based on customer requirements aligned with SAP technical best practices.
- Lead resolution of technical roadblocks, design & integration problems/incidents, hypercare support.
- Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team (internal & external).
- Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAPβs Solution Extensions.
- Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated.
Skills & Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in SAP SD/MM/LE implementation, solution design, and business process optimization.
- Proven track record in S/4HANA transformation projects, including landscape migration and advanced intercompany processes.
- Expertise in SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BTP, APIs, EDIFACT) and Batch & Handling Unit Management.
- Solid understanding of sales, logistics, and procurement processes, with knowledge of S/4HANA innovations.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and OData Services (preferred).
- Extensive SAP ERP background, with S/4HANA experience highly desirable.
