The Club is seeking a Social Media Producer to lead the social media output for Tottenham Hotspur Women’s team across our network of channels. The successful applicant will work with the existing team in the Content & Communications Department, providing a consistent level of high-quality content output, including training, player content and supporting on matchday media delivery. The ideal candidate will have the skillset and ability to publish content at high pressure on a match day. You will have the knowledge to jump on social media trends and work with our players to produce content which drives reach and relevancy with audiences. You will be an effective communicator who can work across the business with multiple stakeholders. This role also requires providing a level of support to the Women’s team Communications Manager. This includes assisting with post-match external media delivery, in parallel with social media duties. As with all jobs in sport, the position will involve working irregular hours, including weekends, so flexibility will be essential.
JOB PURPOSE
- Plan, create and schedule content across our portfolio of Women’s social media channels – Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
- Responsible for ensuring our Club tone of voice is matched across all Women’s content.
- Create innovative strategies to maximise our engagement across all channels.
- Engage and inform the Spurs Women fanbase across each matchday (including weekends).
- Drive engagement with our fanbase and wider footballing audiences across the world.
- Drive fan base growth in line with wider Club strategy and the deliverables of the THW strategic working group.
- A key person for all things Women’s social media and Content related within the organisation and externally.
- Support for game week media deliverables, building relationships with players and staff.
- Supporting the team's communications and external media function where required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, scheduling and posting across each of the Women’s channels.
- Lead our fan growth and engagement strategy, ensuring we are building and engaging our online communities.
- Content creation across the Spurs fanbase and community on a daily basis, ensuring they align with our core content objectives.
- Supporting the wider social media across internal stakeholder requirements.
- Analysing and optimising social output to achieve peak performance.
- Work directly within a team of content producers, content creators and graphic designers to produce industry leading social content.
- Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as per the season calendar.
- Grow our engaged social audience across all platforms to reach THW strategic targets.
- React to events on and off the pitch in real-time and offer appropriate input and content across Club platforms.
- Utilise the Clubs social platforms so we’re promoting and driving traffic to owned and operated platforms.
- Managing social media freelancers (junior level), to support our output on matchday.
- Stay abreast of the latest social trends, platform tools and emerging platforms to help inform THFC’s social strategies.
- Supporting the Women's Communications Manager with the delivery of post-match media deliverables, and supporting the team's wider communications delivery where needed.

- Confident to create and deploy efficient workflows using tools such as e.g. Slate, OPTA graphics, etc and have a knowledge of video and graphics workflows.
- Strong Community Management experience with the ability to manage feeds and cover live events in real time e.g. Match Day Coverage.
- A network within the social media industry, sports and content creation.
- A demonstrable knowledge and passion for Women’s Football.
- Excellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
- Great knowledge of football (and wider sports) social media content.
