Location: The Sr Instruments Sales Representative will ideally be based in the Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Denmark or Sweden.
Division Specific Information: The Chemical Analysis Division features innovative analytics, from lab to line to field. Our business serves a wide breadth of industrial markets including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement, and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security.
Discover Impactful Work: As the Regional Sales Manager, Environmental & Process Monitoring, you will deliver incremental growth and revenue growth for the Divisionâs EPM business in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. You will also work on territory business planning, running and forecasting the sales pipeline, and building relationships with key customers to close sales.
A Day in the Life:
- Develop and maintain a balanced pipeline of sales opportunities by collaborating with direct and indirect customers (distributors).
- Develops, maintains and owns GoTo market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local Channel manager & Commercial leader.
- Understands the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develops sales strategies to respond effectively.
- Creative in finding ways to close deals based on a âmust-winâ mentality.
- Is a strong teammate, happy to learn and eager to chip-in with ideas to grow the EMEA and Global EPM business.
Keys to Success:
- Education: Bachelorâs Degree, advanced degrees preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of sales experience, 2+ years as an indirect and/or distribution manager experience. Must have sold capital pieces of equipment.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to travel ~50%+ across the territory. Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets. Self-starter and able to work on your own. Ability to prospect new business and have that âhunterâ approach. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English is a must and any other relevant language a bonus.
