The Role
We’re looking for a talented Part-Time Photographer/Videographer to join our Creative Team, working three days a week (Wednesdays required). You will play a crucial role in managing our eComm/product photography and post-production while creating high-quality content for Tangle Teezer in our in-house studio. Please include a portfolio with your application.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Photography & Videography– specialising in flat lay, lifestyle and pack shots.
- An essential role in bringing products to life through high-quality digital images and videos with professional lighting.
- Running a successful studio - set up and take down of studio/lighting set up.
- Leading and assisting on eComm and BAU photoshoots.
- Post-production – edit, retouch, grade and resize imagery in line with brand guidelines.
- Quality control checks on images and videos.
- Maintain and organise imagery assets on our servers.
- Manage multiple deadlines, communicating the workflow to multiple internal teams.
- Help to build and arrange sets in advance of shoots, preparing props and decorating sets when required.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Constantly maintain awareness of new trends in social media, still and video content and how these can be appropriately applied to the brand.
- Support and assist the team on Campaigns.
What we are looking for in you:
- Proficient in software such as Capture One & Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Suite, Canva.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- A very natural creative, strong eye for design and attention to detail.
- A self-motivated team player.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects.
- Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure.
- Comfortable shooting lifestyle content.
- Comfortable filming office-based content (asking the team questions etc.) – do not need to be in front of the camera, but someone that is would be a benefit!
- Able to edit content within apps, particular focus on TikTok.
- Retouching and grading experience required.
- Prop styling experience would be a nice to have.
