Ventia is looking for a skilled Project Finance Manager to lead key financial processes, reporting, and team development while driving business performance. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mitcham.

As a key member of the leadership team, this role will enhance financial performance for the project by partnering with operational stakeholders to drive efficient day-to-day processes, providing management with sound data and analysis to facilitate decision-making, and performing routine budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and financial reporting systems, in line with company policies and required timelines. This includes revenue recognition, cost accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitor and optimise performance against targets, including revenue, EBITDA, net working capital and operating cash flow.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements and support decision-making. For example, developing financial and operational Power BI dashboards, monthly performance reviews (variance analysis), KPI data calculation and reporting.
  • Participate in regular contract reviews and provide insights into contract performance, risk and opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
  • Perform annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with client contacts to resolve queries and complete deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the completion of end-to-end processes, including purchase to pay, order to cash, recruit to onboard, and payroll.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, harnessing individual and team capabilities to deliver project outcomes.
