We are working with an established Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit a Pricing Co-Ordinator. As a Pricing Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for the daily support to the clients' demands, covering quotations, billing queries and reporting, and other needs. Working within a team environment.
Role Involves:
- Providing pricing and ad hoc rates to overseas partners, offices, BDMs and customers.
- Quoting all spot shipments and tenders.
- Reporting and analysing quote statistics and trends.
- Transition of won shipment information to the correct operational team.
- Create and maintain pricing tools (spreadsheets, databases and calculators).
- Inform pricing updates to relevant support teams.
- Follow-up and report monthly on success of quotes completed.
- Complete the pricing for local, regional and global tenders received by the UK Tender/Product team.
- Identify and transfer sales leads from the network to appropriate sales teams.
Experience Required:
- Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Good knowledge of freight products & operational processes (Import, Export, Air, Sea and Road).
- Ideally previous Pricing experience within Freight.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- High level of MS Excel skills.
- Good communication / telemarketing and negotiation skills.
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Used to building customer relationships internally and externally.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Salary depends on experience.
