This role will provide general support to projects and their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. This role will involve stakeholder management, setting tasks out for others to complete in a timely manner. Typically, this will involve the identification, planning and co-ordination of specific projects within the Engineering Delivery Team. This role will act as a central point of co-ordination to deliver Engineering Delivery Projects.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and assistance of projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the planned outputs to support the achievement of strategic business objectives within the Engineering Delivery Team.
- Assist in the planning and organising of the project and operational meetings for the area.
- Co-ordinate the reporting of key project metrics as defined by the area.
- Use standardised project management tools to support a smooth project delivery.
- Co-ordinate opportunities to improve processes and ways of working on projects across the area and define best practices.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their Line Manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
Skills:
- You will need experience of process improvement and working in a project support role in Manufacturing or Engineering.
