We have a fixed-term Operative (Loading Shovel Operator) role available within Aggregate Industries. This role is ideal for someone with relevant industry experience and skills in plant operations. Role: Operative (Loading Shovel Operator) Location: Gladsmuir (South Edinburgh), with duties across 9 sites in Central Scotland Rate: £21 – £24 per hour (PAYE) Contract Length: 13th January 2024 to 31st January 2024 Shift Patterns: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities: Operate mobile plant equipment (e.g., Loading Shovel, Articulated Dump Truck) safely and efficiently. Carry out daily safety checks and inspections. Manage fixed production plant operations, ensuring quality and efficiency. Dispatch products and maintain quality control standards.
