Mechanical Field Engineer

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for our marine client in Teeside. This is a permanent role, salary negotiable by experience. You will have similar previous experience and work autonomously with heavy engineering and rotating equipment. High earnings potential with significant overtime plus benefits eg pension, credit card, mobile, laptop. Home based when not travelling Responsibilities To service, maintain and repair equipment as well as final commissioning Able to read mechanical drawings and diagnose and problem solve/finding solutions Provide details technical reports Interact with Vessel managers and other internal marine operations, carrying out the work to schedule Skills and Experience required for the Mechanical Field Service Engineer role: A willingness to learn and demonstrate a positive attitude. Experienced in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to read and understand drawings. You must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. You should possess a current passport and driving license and be prepared for considerable travel throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
