Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist Full time, Permanent Term time only £28,992 – £35,636 per annum (including paid school holidays) Sunderland, Tyne and Wear Our Private Client are recruiting a Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist for their specialist day school in Sunderland on a permanent basis. The school is one of the leading SEN settings in the North East, supporting children and young people with ADHD, ASD, SEMH and SLCN. Key Responsibilities: Offering evidence based, holistic and child-centred assessments and interventions. Undertake high quality assessments of children and young people and make recommendations about appropriate therapeutic interventions for each child or young person, in accordance with individual assessed needs. Work closely with children, young people, their parents and staff to ensure a personalised plan of delivery. To identity training needs, develop and facilitate training sessions to staff and parents/carers. Attend and/or inform Post Admission Reviews, Annual Reviews and ITACs for those children on your caseload. Requirements: Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC. Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
