We’re seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven Wholesale Manager to join our Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Life Cycle. This critical leadership role is at the heart of delivering our business objectives by overseeing the full customer lifecycle – from onboarding and forecasting to data integrity and contract management.
You will lead high-performing teams, develop and execute strategies that reduce cost to serve, and ensure we provide a seamless and efficient customer experience across our wholesale operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence by enhancing processes, embedding data accuracy across systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with key business functions.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Risk, Trading, and IT to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business change projects. Your leadership will also be essential in building and developing engaged, knowledgeable teams who consistently meet performance KPIs and uphold our customer-first approach.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- A good understanding of the energy industry, processes and regulations;
- Proven experience in a change environment, implementing and embedding change;
- Experience of delivering against short, medium, and long-term plans through people - leadership experience;
- Experience of retail products, managing complex products and transforming them from concept through to delivery;
- Understands the needs of customers from different segments of the industrial and commercial market;
- Skilled in representing the customer at all levels of the business, including in delivery of projects and internal change.
