The role: HCM Implementation Executive. We are embarking on one of the most ambitious transformation programmes led by our People team—redesigning how we deliver HR services and elevate the colleague experience at British Airways. This isn’t just a system change; it’s a people-first reinvention of our HR function, enabled by Oracle Fusion. As an HCM Implementation Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of this transformation. Working closely with Functional Leads, you will contribute to the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of Oracle HCM Cloud modules. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, high-impact programme that will shape the future of HR at British Airways.
What you’ll do:
- Work alongside Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges across HR processes.
- Support the System Integrator in the design, mapping, and configuration of Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Workforce Compensation, Absence Management, and Recruitment.
- Assist in documenting functional design specifications, configuration guides, and business process maps to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Develop and execute test scripts for unit and system integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Contribute to data migration activities, including reconciliation and validation of migrated data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Oracle HCM integrates effectively with other enterprise systems.
- Support go-live activities such as cutover planning, user training, and hypercare support to ensure a smooth transition.
- Stay informed on Oracle HCM enhancements and best practices to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide ad-hoc support and cover for other team tasks as required.

- Your background enables you to navigate HR processes confidently and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Working Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is desirable.
