Lecturer Computing

Uxbridge College\’s Computing and IT School provides learners with the knowledge and skills required by the computing industry. We offer an excellent foundation for progression into careers in IT, apprenticeships, and Higher Education.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Lecturer to be based at our Hayes Campus, to teach a range of Computing courses from Level 1 to Level 5.

Requirements:

• Degree in a Computing subject
• Some teaching experience, including delivering BTEC Programmes at Level 3-5
• Ability to engage 16-18-year-old students

Knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas:

• Cyber Security and Incident Management
• Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools
• Networking and IT Service Delivery

And in at least two of the following:

• Database modelling
• Database implementation (e.g., MS Access)
• Project Management

If you do not already possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognized by the FE sector, the College will support you to achieve this. Sponsorship may be available for this role.
