The role is best suited for someone who has worked on multiple websites at a time. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with a positive attitude; dedication and willingness to work hard, sometimes under high production pressure. You must have a broad digital understanding and the ability to build websites for clients at all levels. You will be able to hit the ground running, and are passionate about digital innovations.
As a Web Designer you will be responsible for the website design, layout and UX of client websites. You will work closely with our internal developers and marketing team to ensure client websites are engaging, designed on time and budget, and adhere to design best practices. This role will see you exhibiting high attention to detail and thinking critically about your designs in line with client campaign goals.
Your day to day:
- Assist the Head of Creative in designing engaging designs in a range of industries.
- Create websites using Wordpress (Front-end) and use the latest software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD & Photoshop.
- Create page designs, layouts and templates using industry best practices.
- Ensure client brand consistency throughout all design outputs.
- Work collaboratively with Internal UX, Marketing and Development teams.
- Assist in the creation of digital design work, including display banners, website mock-ups and infographics.
- Add content and images, liaising with relevant stakeholders where required to provide additional content.
- Wireframe using black-box, low fidelity and high fidelity design principles.
- Manage your time effectively to ensure all projects are delivered on time and on-budget.
- Ensure that all tasks are correctly time tracked, correctly logged and managed.
- Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback and work on producing the best outcomes with all work.
- Independently manage your day-to-day workload.
- Liaise effectively and professionally with clients, suppliers and other team members.
- Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of WordPress CMS and Elementor Pro page Builder.
- Excellent Organisational skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and literacy skills.
- Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
