Through our UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) we are looking to employ an Employability Client Adviser to provide employability support to East Renfrewshire residents who are unemployed or economically inactive. The post holder will provide personalised support and access to a wide range of training, employment and further education opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team working closely with local residents to help them into employment, training or further education. We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting people into work and is aware of the challenges facing people who are unemployed or economically inactive within the labour market.

Please note this is a temporary post until the end of March 2026. We want to ensure we have the right support in place so that local residents are able to participate and progress within the labour market. We believe that delivering this agenda is vital to ensure a more diverse and inclusive workforce and one which addresses the increasing challenges of economic inactivity and inequalities within the labour market.

Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met. This post is subject to a Level 1 Disclosure Check.
