Wood Machinist, £15+ per hour, Monday to Friday, Permanent, nr Poole, Dorset.
I have a truly amazing opportunity for a Wood Machinist to become part of a passionate team in a specialist Marine workshop. This is a great role for a Wood Machinist who doesn’t want to be making the same thing day in and day out but wants to be working on bespoke products and designs. As a Wood Machinist you will be working as part of a small team producing high quality products from initial drawings to finished product, these will be varied and include Marine Furniture and private commissions. You will need to have:
- Previous experience as a Wood Machinist
- Be able to take drawings through to finished products
- Have experience of a wide range of workshop tools; including Spindle Moulders, Band saws and hand tools
- You will need your own transport due to the location.
As a Bench Joiner you will get to be part of a truly passionate team that has a full future order book, work in a Family owned workshop and be involved in some great projects. If you can demonstrate a higher level of skill and experience you may be considered for a higher salary.
