Job Summary: WildAbout is a leader in the luxury floral industry, providing top-quality products and services for a wide range of clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized and skilled individual to join our team as our Floral Contracts Manager.

Reporting to: Studio Manager, Managing Director

Start Date: ASAP

Hours of Work: Average of 40 hours per week. Weekend work is essential, and days off during the week will be provided to cover hours.

Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience, with a six-month review. Auto enrolment pension. 20 days annual leave. Paid via our rota system; Tanda, which will monitor your weekly hours. Paid respectively on the 10th of the following month. Overtime paid at time and a half for hours worked between 10 PM – 4 AM.

Job description: As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our corporate and private contracts, from initial client meetings to final execution, including weekly ordering and refreshes. The role will involve managing a team, coordinating logistics on delivery days, and ensuring the successful design of our floral contracts tailored to each of our venues and clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as this role works closely with the studio manager, office, clients, and wider team, as well as a strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you should have a valid driver\’s license to drive a large van and a clean driving record.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Meet with clients to understand their contract requirements and design preferences.
  2. Create and manage floral budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  3. Source and select high-quality flowers and foliage from reputable suppliers for each contract.
  4. Coordinate with vendors and venue staff to ensure smooth delivery and setup of weekly contract flowers.
  5. Oversee a team of florists, providing guidance and direction on design concepts and execution.
  6. Ensure all floral arrangements meet and exceed client expectations and adhere to the highest quality standards.
  7. Continuously research and stay updated on the latest floral trends and techniques.
  8. Coordinate the delivery and pick-up schedule for materials and ensure timely and efficient transportation.
  9. Oversee the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
  10. Be the first point of contact for all contract-based issues.
  11. Go to market as and when required.
  12. Keep the studio clean and tidy with the Studio manager.

Criteria:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Floral Contracts Manager or a similar role.
  2. In-depth knowledge of floral design principles and ability to create unique and visually stunning arrangements.
  3. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  5. Proficient in using floral ordering software and design tools.
  6. Ability to lead and motivate a team of florists, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Full, clean driving license required.
  9. You must be a team player and happy to work flexible hours in the studio and onsite.
