I am delighted to be partnering with a nationwide Facilities Management company in the heart of London, who are seeking a highly commercial and capable Head of HR Advisory to join their organisation and lead on all people related matters for the UK.

You will be required to work three days each week in the office, and you can be based either out of their Central London offices or Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the HR Advisory team of 10
  • Change and transformation initiatives to improve team efficiencies and output
  • Provide excellent and up to date employment law advice to both client group and direct team
  • Strong TUPE, Redundancy, Restructure and high-level Employee Relations experience
  • High volume (low level) ER exposure with a ‘best practice’ approach
  • Comfortable operating in a Performance Management culture, setting clear goals and objectives to business leaders and your team
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, hold regular one to ones and team meetings
  • Strong tech acumen and comfortable delivering reporting, and analysing data
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, constantly seeking out efficiencies and improved ways of working both in your team and across the business areas you support
  • Collaborate closely with wider HR team including Talent, EDI, L&D and ER escalations team to ensure alignment and strong synergy across functions
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive engagement, talent development and retention initiatives, and promote the business as a desirable place to work

Who you are

  • Proven HR track record in similar companies either in fast paced facilities management, hospitality, retail, or other related industries
  • Exceptional UK Employment law knowledge
  • Experience in leadership roles within HR
  • Strong Employee Relations exposure, ideally high-volume low-level casework
  • Strong experience in training and development needs, talent management and retention and engagement initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with a data driven approach to decision making
  • Highly process driven and adept at implementing new ways of working
  • Delivers an impeccable employee and internal customer experience

Salary: £70,000 + bonus

Location: London or Manchester – 3 days in office (you do not have to attend both offices; it will be either London or Manchester based)
