CNC TURNER

Excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner from a manufacturing or engineering environment. We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first-class working environment and the opportunity to work in the manufacturing sector. CNC Turner – Main Duties: Read engineering drawings Set and operate with Fanuc controls Machine larger components confidently Have at least 2 years recent experience working on CNC controlled lathes Experience machining hardened materials Complete an apprenticeship in machining Qualifications / Skills / Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Turner Served an apprenticeship in CNC machining Salary / Hourly Rates: Hours of work: on a 3-shift system (6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 12noon on Friday; 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 12noon to 6pm on Friday; 10pm to 6am Monday to Thursday, 6pm to Midnight on Friday). The basic working hours are paid at 37 hours. Salary: Starting around £36k on 3 shifts, increasing to £42k and eventually £48k when key skills are met. OT Rate: £21.07, increasing to £21.72 after 3 months. Note: The role requires passing a drugs and alcohol test. How to apply: Apply in Word format.
