The predicted salary is between 30000 - 45000 £ per year.
We are seeking a full-time, experienced social worker to join our multi-agency family support and safeguarding team, based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The role involves working predominantly with child protection and child in need families, as well as cases involving supervision orders, harmful sexual behaviour, and exploitation. Although we have separate teams for court proceedings and looked-after children, we handle initial paperwork for proceedings and hold these until the initial looked-after review meetings.
Applicants must have experience in writing child and parenting assessments and social work evidence templates. Applicants must meet the following criteria for agency social workers, which is non-negotiable:
- 3 years of full-time, permanent Local Authority experience (regardless of how long you have been qualified)
Candidate requirements:
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
- Excellent communication skills and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team/multi-agency setups
- Knowledge of service needs
- Competent IT skills, including navigating electronic file/recording systems
- Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessments, reports, and files
- Flexible approach to work and working hours as needed
