1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Nursery Early years Room Leader Children\’s Day Nursery and Preschool Reigate. We are seeking a Room Leader for our outstanding day nursery in Reigate. The Room Leader will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care and leading a small committed team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a nursery possess strong leadership skills, and have a passion for early childhood education. Duties Of The Room Leader Include Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery room Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime Provide guidance and support to nursery room staff Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child\’s progress and any concerns Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and positive learning environment The ideal candidate Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education Experience of leading a room or as a Deputy room lead or senior practitioner. Strong communication skills. A childcare / early years qualification at Level 3 or above. Ability to drive positive behaviour and create a supportive learning environment A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS) Benefits Great holiday allowance.
