Keegans is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Employers Agent for a full-time/permanent position based in London. The role offers a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in quantity surveying duties, including pre and post-contract activities, cost reporting, cost planning, tender preparation, on-site valuations, and interim payment applications.
- Assist as an Employer’s Agent in contract administration, including instructions, meetings, and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information for project success.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects.
- Engage in regular CPD activities to develop knowledge and stay updated on legislation affecting quantity surveying and employer’s agents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant university degree or equivalent.
- Experience as a trainee/assistant Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience as a trainee/assistant Employer’s Agent is desirable.
- Experience working on residential properties is essential.
- Knowledge of working with local authorities and housing associations/developers is desirable.
- Knowledge of fire remediation, education, or leisure sectors is desirable.
- Working towards MRIC/MCIOB membership.
