Hours: 4 hours per week term, up to 8 hours during school holidays. Location: Peterhead. Support Worker £13.86 per hour 4 hours per week during term time Working on a 2:1 basis Can be worked either Saturday or Sunday, 1 – 5 pm Some flexibility in times Up to 8 hours during school holidays Opportunity for 4 respite overnights per year (6 pm – 11 am) We are looking to employ someone who is kind, compassionate, and reliable to support our 6-year-old autistic son. This role involves supporting him to attend activities he enjoys, such as outdoor activities, swimming, trampoline parks, and the beach. He loves being outdoors and can be challenging at times, with no sense of danger, but is very loving once he gets to know you. Support will be on a 2:1 basis, with an opportunity to shadow until a trusting relationship is built. The goal is to support him in reaching his potential safely, providing reassurance and guidance where necessary. Car driver and access to a vehicle would be helpful but not essential.
