Credit Controller x2 Fixed-Term-Contract 6 Months

Based : Hemel Hempstead

Department: Finance

Reporting to : Accounts Receivable Manager

Contract : 6 month Fixed-Term-Contract

This role is responsible for the collection of debt, operating within Company policy, targets and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for your own ledger as allocated by the Account Receivable Manager.
• Establish and maintain regular contact with each account using a variety of communication mediums including telephone and email contact.
• Ensure that aged debts are kept within department targets, by following the credit control collection process.
• Escalate any delinquent accounts to the Credit Controller Lead.
• Liaison with internal customers to resolve queries leading to receipt of monies.
• Credit Check new and existing customers.
• Provide monthly updates on all overdue accounts.
• Support and undertake all process improvements of the area
• The jobholder will assume responsibility for related duties as reasonably requested or assigned.
• The jobholder will be responsible for keeping management informed of area of activities and any significant problems.
• To provision assistance to all other members of the team as required or requested by the Accounts Receivable Manager

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Previous experience within a similar role
• At least 1 years experience in Credit Control
• High volume low value invoice experience
• Have run and are able to read Credit Reports
