At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Ireland’s most distinctive catering experts. We are passionate about great food and great coffee, putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything that we do. We are excited to be recruiting for an Operations Director to look after our Universities.
We currently have 5 universities based in London, Oxford, Buckinghamshire, and Gloucester, with more to add to the patch in the coming months. We are looking to recruit a specialist to help drive the business forward.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strive to continually exceed client expectations and provide excellent customer care.
- Ensure that legal and company requirements are adhered to in respect of Hygiene, Health & Safety, Employment Law, and Food Safety Law for all staff, visitors, and clients.
- Establish good client relationships and ensure that monthly communication is maintained.
- Ensure full catering services are provided as agreed within the client contracts.
- Establish a committed and motivated team focused on the delivery of CH&CO/Gather and Gather values.
- Prepare company budgets as required and present to clients in a professional manner.
- Grow the business in your units through generic growth, enhanced customer spends, and offer saving opportunities where appropriate.
- Investigate revenue shortfalls and cost overspends relating to financial results for the unit and take action as necessary.
