Integration Engineer (DevOps)

Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Synergize Consulting Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an Integration Engineer to work at a leading defence client of ours, on a contract basis. The candidate will be working as part of a dynamic engineering team that produces critical and cutting-edge defence technology, and this will be an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with some of the best open-source tools out there — and play a key role in automating and securing complex systems using Ansible and modern DevOps practices. Responsibilities of the role will include: Configure and integrate open-source products into a secure and stable rig Automate deployments and system configuration using Ansible Maintain and support a Linux-based environment Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, compliant deployments Document solutions and contribute to improving automation pipelines Experience required: Strong background in Linux system administration and strong skills in managing systems and services Experience with open-source product integration Strong DevOps knowledge, and awareness of CI/CD pipelines and containers Hands-on experience with Ansible (playbook creation, role management, etc.) Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC) If you are looking to take the next exciting step in your IT career, please send in your CV for immediate consideration.
