Position: Humanities Teacher, Secondary School

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: £120 – £180, per day. Dependent on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Humanities Teacher to join the dedicated team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging and innovative teaching methods, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of humanities subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in History, Geography, and Social Studies.

  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

  • Encourage critical thinking and a love for learning in all students.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school culture.

Requirements

  • A degree in Humanities or a related field.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with all offers of employment subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
