We are looking for a C# Developer to join a team working for our UK-based client - the national mapping agency for Great Britain and a global leader in geospatial data and digital mapping solutions. You will be part of a project focused on building a comprehensive digital map of underground assets in the UK, contributing to the development of data pipelines, backend services, and a frontend application that support critical decision-making across government and industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET (Core/Framework), and related technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend logic.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and SOLID principles.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning).
