About the Role
Reporting directly to a Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal part in the revenue accounting processes. You’ll have the chance to develop deep expertise in revenue streams across a diverse range of fund investment products, working closely with internal stakeholders and external data providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building strong working relationships across the business and with third-party information sources.
- Ensuring accurate monthly revenue accruals, timely fund invoicing, and delivering insightful commentary and variance analysis.
- Maintaining robust financial controls to guarantee the integrity and timeliness of reported figures.
- Acting as a key contact for auditors and overseeing legal entity control for select regulated entities.
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties as required.
About You: Required Qualification and Skills
We’re looking for a confident and capable person who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. Skills and experience required:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a background in investment management or financial services.
- Revenue accounting experience or exposure through actual experience within industry or audit gained within a big 6 firm of auditors.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Thrives on improving processes and delivering actionable financial insights.
- Quickly adapts to new challenges and is eager to understand complex areas in depth.
- Communicates effectively and enjoys collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
- Is comfortable working to tight deadlines and can step back to review and challenge existing practices and information provided.
- Has strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.
