The role: Storage and Distribution Compliance Manager (6 to 12 months Secondment/ 6 to 12 Months Fixed Term Contract). The Compliance manager ensures the storage and distribution organisation maintains H&S, Quality and financial compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a small team overseeing the S&D compliance portfolio.
- Support the S&D team to maintain Mandatory training, Working time limitations, Health and Safety, 145 procedure adherence and inventory financial controls.
- Ensure all colleagues receive sufficient training and guidance to enable them to meet Company/Airworthiness requirements.
- Develop plans and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Manage dangerous goods control and compliance.
- Drive a health & safety culture within the team.
- Communicate compliance requirements to the S&D team.
- Provide detailed analysis of compliance data to enable development of business safety & quality strategies.
- Engage in and lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve compliance in the business.
What You’ll Bring To British Airways:
- Detailed knowledge of relevant aspects of Part 145, H&S at Work Act.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to be assertive when required.
- Deliver engaging classroom-based compliance training.

- Dangerous goods, known supplier and known consignor legislation knowledge.
- Auditing experience.
- Degree level or equivalent.
- Leadership qualification.
- Able to obtain an Airside Pass and Airside driving permit.
