Missions

Your main goal will be to drive technical pre-sales processes and ensure successful proof of concepts (POCs) to convert leads into satisfied customers. To do so, here are your responsibilities:

  • Leading Technical Sales Engagements: Conduct technical calls and demos with potential Enterprise customers to showcase n8n’s capabilities. Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions, demonstrating how n8n can address their challenges. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to align technical solutions with sales strategies.
  • Creating and Managing POCs: Monitor and guide clients through their POC journey, providing support and insights to maximise their trial experience. Collect and analyse feedback from POCs to refine the process and improve client onboarding.
  • Building Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT Ops and SecOps teams. Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients envision future use cases and expansion opportunities with n8n. Provide technical expertise and best practices to ensure long-term client success.
  • Internal Collaboration and Process Improvement: Work with the sales team to streamline and enhance pre-sales processes. Communicate client feedback and technical requirements to product and engineering teams to drive product improvements. Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing materials to support technical sales efforts.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Sales Engineering Experience: You have more than 6 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, ideally within B2B SaaS.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator who can effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand sales processes and can creatively address client needs with technical solutions.
  • Relationship Building: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with clients, particularly within IT Ops and SecOps.
  • Technical Proficiency: You have a solid understanding of API integrations, oAuth, and experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Javascript.
  • Startup Experience: You thrive in fast-paced startup environments. Open to travelling and participating in onboarding with the team in NYC when required.

Nice-to-have:

  • Advanced Technical Background: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical training.
  • Community Engagement: You are active in tech communities and have experience engaging with open-source projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with n8n’s platform or similar workflow automation tools.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: You are skilled in collecting and analysing data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
