Seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a growing healthcare organisation in Yarton. This role is responsible for purchase to pay processes and supporting the Finance Team on other finance related activities.
Your new role
-
Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities

Processing payments for credit cards
-
Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
-
Preparing supplier remittance advice notes
-
Reconciling supplier statement
-
Recording of sales orders, sale invoices and sales credit notes
-
Performing credit checks, issuing customer statements, monitoring and chasing overdue debts.

Book companies travel in line with the companies’ travel and expenses policy.

Provide purchasing and expense policy training for employees
-
Resolve internal and external queries
-
Provide support for colleagues in the Finance and Administration department as required
What you’ll need to succeed
-
Studying AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
-
Numerate with excellent attention to detail
-
Proficient in use of Word and Excel
-
Good communication skills
-
Ability to work flexibly as part of a busy team
-
Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
-
Working in an accounts function, including the use of ERP finance modules
-
Prior experience doing purchase and payment processing for R&D or manufacturing teams is desirable.
