I am working with a family-owned business with a new generation taking the lead based in Burnley. They are committed to expanding our activities and driving excellence in all areas of our operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance manager to join their management team and contribute to our growth and success. This position is a full time, temp to perm position to find the right candidate for the role.

Your new role

We are seeking an ambitious finance manager to join our management team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the solid financial routines already established, while also providing support and guidance to our operational teams and the main Board. Within your role, you will prepare and present monthly management accounts, including full profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Handle daily accounting tasks such as inputting data and reconciliations when needed, work closely with a team of 32 staff members, including engineers, office staff, managers, and directors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration, utilise Sage Line 50 accounts and MS Excel for financial management and ensure compliance with VAT returns and CIS requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed within this role you will have to be AAT qualified or higher. You will also have had to have worked in a similar role prior. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders and keen to establish a rewarding career in a growing SME
