We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Treaty Reinsurance Broker to join our EMEA team based in London. Aon is in the business of better decisions. About the role: As a Treaty Reinsurance Broker, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review of coverage, structuring, and pricing in co-ordination with actuarial and analytics colleagues
  • Technical and strategic broking service in support of the Account Executive and wider client team in placing and servicing of Treaty Reinsurances
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary
  • Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of client and market meetings, market submissions and presentations
  • Work in partnership with the client team in the marketing of reinsurance placements, involving communication with both clients and reinsurers (in both London and international markets)
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

About you: Your knowledge and expertise:

  • Technical (re)insurance knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Project management experience preferable
  • Data analysis & high level mathematical/statistical education preferred
  • Good level of IT competency (high level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to
  • Experience of working in a team environment
