Are you a Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting and challenging role within a busy department? You may be recently qualified or have more experience and are looking for a change. We are looking to recruit Rotational Pharmacy Technicians to join our friendly, patient-centred Pharmacy team based within the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex. This role will be a part of both the dispensary and ward-based pharmacy teams.
This is a part-time role on a fixed-term basis full-time until the end of August 2025. For this role, you will need to be registered with the GPhC with experience of medicines reconciliation at ward level. You will also be required to have achieved a Regional Final Accuracy Checking Accreditation.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing an accurate and efficient service in the pharmacy dispensary and on wards. You will need to be a highly motivated and responsible individual with a passion for customer service and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills further through our development programme supported by a friendly and experienced team.
Working patterns will include some late standby shifts, weekend and bank holiday working.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
