About the Role:
We are seeking a recent graduate with a 2.1 or first class degree result or post-graduate with at least a good first degree in chemistry, or related discipline to train to become a patent attorney. In addition to a strong academic background, you will need good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and excellent attention to detail. A competitive salary is offered, with a start date preferably in August/September 2025 .
As a trainee patent attorney, you will receive full training and support to become qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. This includes mentoring and supervision by the partners, in-house tutorials, external lectures, and attending the Bournemouth University, Queen Mary Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Law, or an equivalent course.
