RSM UK is looking for an Employer Brand Executive to join their team. This newly created role brings together a unique blend of corporate responsibility, culture, brand and communications knowledge and understanding. Working closely with the Employer Brand Manager, wider Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) team and People teams, you’ll support the development and delivery of our narrative through engaging communications and campaigns.

We are looking for someone who can create, share and amplify our unique story – the story about who we are, what we do, and the difference we’re making for our clients, our people and the wider world. If you’re great at creating engaging internal and external content that inspires existing colleagues and helps attract new people to our leading professional services firm, then this could be the role for you.

A key part of the role will be helping to share our Making a Difference strategy and impact. Ethics, charity, communities, sustainability and the environment have always been important to us at RSM, but we need to share this message more widely.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Working with the Employer Brand Manager and wider IMC specialists to create engaging, authentic content that showcases the employee experience and attracts top talent.
  • Collaborating with RSM’s people team to help develop the employee value proposition narrative and ensuring consistent employer brand messaging and activation, through blogs, career site content, talent community newsletters, careers fairs and onboarding events.
  • Working closely with RSM UK Foundation Trustees, charity partners and corporate responsibility champions to schedule and deliver communication plans that profile our charity partnerships and our volunteering and fundraising work.
  • Partnering with our social media agency to curate content from across our 31 offices, three service lines and business (core) functions.
  • Collaborating with our teams across RSM to ensure their campaigns are profiled across our social media channels.
  • Supporting the Employer Brand Manager with planning and development, including research.
  • Monitoring campaign engagement and employer brand impact using digital channel data and people team metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and inform stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in communications and campaign delivery, likely gained through a marketing, employer brand or communications role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with proven skills in writing content for different audiences.
  • Natural storytelling ability and an understanding of how to create authentic narratives that connect with candidates and colleagues.
  • Excellent copywriting and editorial skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in social media, including content creation and community engagement.

What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have a fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.

  • Hybrid and Flexible working
  • 26 Days Holiday (with the option of purchasing additional days)
  • Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP
  • Access to a suite of 300+ courses on demand developed by our in-house Talent Development team

Diversity and Inclusion at RSM:

At RSM, we want to create a strong sense of belonging so that people of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures feel they can bring their true self to work. Our clients come from all walks of life. We aim to achieve that same diversity of background, experience and perspective in our own teams, so that we can genuinely understand our client’s needs. Diverse teams bring a broader range of ideas and insights to work. That’s why we’re working together to ensure our firm’s principles and processes support a firm culture that embraces difference and strengthens inclusion.
