Are you looking for the next step in your career and want to join an expanding team as the company continues to build on its success? We are currently working with a leading house builder seeking a land manager to join their team based in the North West.

The ideal candidate will come from a high-volume house builder background, with experience in large projects and land tendering. You should have a proven track record of land deals and excellent knowledge of the Lancashire, Chester, Cumbria, and Merseyside regions. Ideally, 4+ years post-graduation with ambitions to progress.

You will collaborate with internal and external consultants to manage projects through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing off-market land purchases in the North West
  • Maintaining contacts with housing associations for potential partnerships and joint ventures
  • Negotiating with landowners and agents
  • Overseeing legal, planning, and design consultants pre- and post-acquisition
  • Staying updated with town planning policies in targeted areas
Expected experiences:
  • Degree-qualified, preferably in property or related fields
  • Consistently closing 3-4 land deals annually
  • Experience as a senior land manager or ready to advance to that role
  • Proven ability to source and acquire land in the North West
  • Current employment with a national residential developer, investor, or agency
  • Strong understanding of planning application and appeal processes
  • Extensive network within land agencies
  • Driven, ambitious, and determined
  • Ability to work independently
