ManTech seeks a Configuration Management Specialist to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Intelligence & Cyber Operations Contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide configuration management support for the development, engineering, testing, integration, fielding, and sustainment of cyberspace capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain the configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment.
  • Control components for projects and systems as they are developed, updated, and deployed.
  • Support Configuration Change Board (CCB) activities and the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
  • Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) and CCBs throughout the acquisition life cycle and evaluate engineering artifacts at each milestone decision.
  • Conduct regular audits of configuration data to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
  • Document all configuration management activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related Configuration Management experience (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
  • Experience in using Configuration Management software (CMPro preferred).
  • Strong technical background in information systems and tactical employment of information systems.
  • Experience with systems integration and testing to verify required performance.
  • Experience with navigating and applying the DoD 5000.2, Acquisition framework.
  • Experience doing assessments of change proposals for technical merit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD programs and materiel development commands in particular.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • ITIL certification.

Clearance Required: Must have an Active TS/SCI
