We are looking for a talented multi-disciplinary Midweight Graphic Designer to deliver visually appealing and engaging graphic design work which informs, inspires and captivates our clients and end customers. The role works across the full graphic design process from concept to delivery, applying designs across a range of media and artwork. The role is extremely varied, you will be working on a wide variety of projects such as activation visualisations, branding, digital/interactive, design for social media, marketing collateral, packaging, and supporting the Artwork team when required.

Reporting into the Design Manager, you will be working closely with colleagues including account managers and the wider creative team as well as the digital and content team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Graphic Design craft for our experiential campaigns and in-store activities for the FMCG and beauty sectors - covering design creation, scamp interpretation, layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and visualisation.
  • Design generation for both print and online.
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
  • Preparing accurate & production ready artwork, including large format, for a variety of repro processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role and a degree-level professional qualification relevant to graphic design.
  • In-depth knowledge of, and able to evidence capability in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • Portfolio showcasing examples of work exhibiting strong design, creative, typography, colour and layout theory and application skills.
  • Excellent typographical, visual hierarchy and layout skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of working creatively within brand guidelines.
  • Confidence in proposing and discussing materials and methods of production to bring concepts to life.
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage your workload on multiple projects to deadlines.
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative problem-solving working style, within a team.
