MCS Group are delighted to be working alongside a well-known Not-for-Profit as they look for a Marketing focused Website Manager to join their growing team in Belfast and lead the transformation of the current customer facing website to a new platform. The successful individual will work closely with the marketing team and web agencies to maximise the effectiveness of the website for customers and stakeholders. This role will be central to improving journeys, increasing online engagement and ensuring users can easily access information and ensuring the website is delivered as per the agreed specifications.

Core responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a website strategy to ensure users receive the best experience possible.
  • To lead on the website's content management and creation, SEO strategy, user experience and functionality, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure an optimal digital experience.
  • To deliver a professional, market-leading user experience on the website, and use data to continually analyse and improve the web experience.
  • Develop and manage SEO-optimised landing pages to support marketing campaigns and lead generation.
  • Manage website goals and KPIs and report on these regularly.
  • Use Google Analytics and other tools to track website performance, identifying areas for improvement based on data, trends and insights for decision making.
  • Monitor user behaviour and website navigation, making data-driven recommendations to improve ease of access to key information.
  • Work closely with marketing, business development, and customer services teams to ensure the website effectively communicates key messages.

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree or third level qualification in a relevant field such as: Web development, Digital marketing, Computer science, UX/UI Design, Communications or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in website management or web development.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
  • Expertise in SEO, GA4 and website performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards and GDPR compliance.
  • High level of IT literacy and advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools.
