Job Summary: To manage and increase the sales of the HP product range (including all aftermarket activities such as AMT Parts Sales, Field Service, Refurbishment and Installations/Commissioning) through key account management of the current and future customer network. To develop and maintain close relationships with existing and potential key customers and distributors.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes effective relationships with key account customers, partners, distributor personnel, ensuring customer/distributor loyalty to GD products.
- Ensures revenue growth plans that underpin GD company strategy are in place to meet the short and long term in conjunction with Sales Leader.
- Plans and manages the defined sales territory to make efficient use of time and resources.
- Collates market data and customer plans.
- Take a lead role in the formulation of company forecasts and annual plans using information of the highest quality in the respective territory.
- Develops and upgrades distributor organisation to provide maximum sales coverage.
- Identifies and exploits new sales opportunities.
- Ensures customer technical problems are managed in timely manner through appropriate resource.
- Ensures service and warranty requirements are identified and met to satisfactory resolution.
- Represent the company at trade shows as required.
- Preparation of technical information and quotations.
- Evaluates and provides technical training access to distributors, vendors and customers.
- Achieve annual agreed sales target.
- Manage sales and revenue improvement through SDP's and KPl's.
- Project Management of installation work.
- Management of Service engineers (Utilisation rate, scheduling and planning visits etc).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or international equivalent) is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiating and influencing capabilities at all levels.
- Strong Drive for results and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines & achieve targets.
- Highly self-motivated and flexible.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Ability to solve problems and a "can do" attitude.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements and multiple projects.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: Redditch site based, partial home office, 30% traveling within the UK and occasional international travels.
